In this article we cover four more prospects out of the 2027 Class, that have set themselves up for success in the long run. They each leave it all on the floor, every time they lace up their kicks and that speaks to how dedicated they are to the game of basketball at this point in their careers.

The upside potential that Haydin Jackson Haydin Jackson 5'8" | SG Bennington | 2027 NE displays on the basketball court every time she laces up is something to note at this point. When I first had the chance to see Jackson, she demonstrated that she had a fundamental shooting stroke, a smart head on her shoulders, and a lot of patience to her game. Since then, she has seemingly gotten better in almost every aspect of the game. She has kept up with her consistent shooting ability, she is playing stifling defense, and she is someone that isn’t going to hurt her team in the long run by any means. As long as she stays lock in and in love with the game of basketball, she could be a solid producer at the collegiate level at the end of the day in the correct situation.

Whenever you hear about Omaha Marian High School, you hear about their studs but someone that I really enjoyed watching this AAU season, who could produce at a solid rate is Shooting Guard, Jolie Hefflinger Jolie Hefflinger 5'8" | SG Omaha Marian | 2027 NE . Hefflinger isn’t going to kill you with fancy moves but with fundamental play and solid coordination. She is someone that can pop off and have a handful of buckets each contest but she doesn’t put stress on that part of her game. She lets the game come to her and because of that, she seems to find a lot of success. This upcoming Winter, I’m excited to see what she can put together as a Sophom*ore. If she plays off of the production of the stars around her, she should put up some memorable numbers before the season comes to an end.

The strength and size that Kalyn Bailey Kalyn Bailey 5'10" | SF Westview | 2027 NE possesses on the hardwood is second-to-none at her Westview High School. Bailey is someone that can grab 7 Rebounds and average 10 PPG because of her work either alone underneath the basket. She has demonstrated that she has a solid touch on the basketball and coordination on the catch so as long as she can be put in situations that favor her strengths, she should feast this next few years on the high school floor, as well as with her Nebraska Supreme team.

Marlee Emerson Marlee Emerson 5'6" | PG Norris | 2027 NE is a leader and a game changer at the Point Guard position from what I’ve seen so far. Emerson is the type of guard, that can lead her team in several different aspects. She can do it by scoring the rock at an elite rate, she can facilitate others each time down the court, and she can move off of the ball with ease. This is someone that leads her team’s by example. She communicates well and she is very good at figuring out her opponent’s weaknesses, early on in a contest. As long as she stays efficient in her play style moving forward, I don’t see why she couldn’t produce at the next level in a few different ways. She has shown that this AAU season and I’m hoping she can carry that momentum into the near future.
