Team D! Dominant. Dynomite! Dynamic. Da bomb! Haha. Old School saying right there. Anyways, these girls who would be donning the unis for this squad are some thumpers for their school teams. Girls who can score it, contribute on the defensive end, and really just have a solid all around game. The way they play speaks volumes as a player and they hoop with a purpose of eviscerating their opponent. (I promise you I am not using big words to show off my intelligence.) For real, each of these girls’ games are unique. How they go about their business may be a little different, but they tend to have the same results. Gamers who show up and show out but most importantly they lead. Lead their teams. Lead in stats. Lead even off the court.

Check out Team D in this Mock Tennessee event.

Lyriq Mastin Lyriq Mastin 5'7" | CG Blackman | 2025 State TN ( Blackman)– Recent Tennessee Tech commit is tough. Has a lot of bounce in her game. What I like, she is poised with the ball in her hands, displaying counter moves if an opponent tries to pick her pocket. Lyriq is a 3 level scorer, however, her ability to get her teammates involved is impressive. Her ability to feel where pressure is coming from, enables her to get it out quickly to an open teammate. I love her ability to sit down and guard, frustrating her opponent into a turnover opportunity. This kid is solid and is an awesome pick up for the Tech program.

Lily Morrow Lily Morrow 5'11" | SG CPA | 2026 State TN (CPA)– Versatile. Think of Andre Iguodala in his prime. Best comparison and here is why. Lily can play down low around the block and dunker spots, however, she will come down and dribble into a pullup 3, if she receives the ball on the wing, she will shot fake and attack finishing around the rim or a mid-range shot. So her inside out game is very lethal. What’s overlooked is her passing ability. She is a selfless teammate who knows when to get hers, but also feeds the hot hand. Also, she can lock up any size on D, and contribute on the glass. She’s just a dominant hooper with good size. Lastly, and this is a warning to all opponents, Do not get this girl riled up. If you do, know she is going to come back 10x stronger cause she is a beast. Big time prospect with tremendous upside.

Daria Biryk Daria Biryk 5'10" | SG Webb- Bell Buckle | 2025 State TN (Webb Bell-Buckle)– Smooth. She is one of the best pure jump shooters in the state. Her ability to play in the space above the ground is pretty impressive. A 3 level scoring threat who can shoot lights out from pretty much anywhere on the floor. Contributes on the boards. Plays tough D. Has a very impressive international resume to go with her stateside dominance. She is a very intelligent ballplayer who has the build of a D1 player and will be a D1 player. She has a lot of attention and rightfully so. If you watch her, you will be impressed by how over the course of the game, she gets stronger and stronger. So yes, stamina and energy she is. Dominating mindset, you best believe. She’s a very special talent for sure.

Faye Williams Faye Williams 6'3" | PF Bartlett | 2026 State TN (Bartlett)– A very versatile energetic athlete who is a tough competitor. 6’2 with length, she exploits her dominantes on both ends of the floor. Offensively, she can score it from the arc, attacking gaps with her quick first step. If she is on the block, she can work you with her back to the basket or turn around and display a nice face up game. She is dominant on the glass on glass on the defensive end. Has impressive shot blocking ability. She likes to play fast (and so does her team) and if she doesn’t get the rebound, she is off to the races, looking to get the easy lay. Big time prospect who is going to be a huge steal for a program.

Natavia Alber Natavia Alber 6'1" | PF Northview Academy | 2026 State TN (Northview Academy)– Hard working big who is dominant inside the arc. Let’s start off by saying this, she is great in the screen game. Pick n’roll, pick’n pop, Varejao screens, she is capable of doing all that and finishing. Her mid- range game from the elbow and short corner is tough. If a PG gets a paint touch and kicks it out, she will find the bottom of the net. Has a nice face up game where she will get her defender in the air and go past them finishing through the helpside defender. So counter moves, her back to the basket ability, all that, she has in her arsenal. She is a tough defender blocking shots and owning the painted area to get boards. I will say this, she is battle tested and gets better every time she steps on the floor. Solid prospect who packs a nice punch.

Payton Rollins Payton Rollins 5'8" | PG South Doyle | 2027 State TN (South Doyle)– A fearless leader who is super tough. A swiss army knife of a kid who is a downhill attacker. Let me stop by saying this, she has a solid outside game, but if she puts that ball on the floor, your defense has failed because she is going to score the rock at a consistent clip or make the right read. This kid is tough. A highlight waiting to happen. She can distribute, score, play solid D. A great two-way player who comes alive when the lights are on. Check every statical box because her name will be in all of them. A tough kid who is on the rise and will leave her fingerprints all over her school when it’s all said and done.

Lazavionna Hawkins (Goodpasture)– May not be big in stature, but packs a mighty punch. This kid is a gamer who has a dawg mentality. She is going to utilize her speed and quickness to attack downhill in a one v one situation or coming off of a screen. Has a great feel for the game where she can sense where the help defender is coming from. She can pull it from anywhere on the court, however, it’s her defensive prowess that stands out as well. She has quick hands that enable her to poke balls away, leading to transition buckets. Had a great season last year and look for her to keep building upon the success she has had. Solid prospect who can hoop.

KJ McNealy KJ McNealy 6'0" | SG Farragut | 2026 State TN (Farragut)– Versatile dynamic athlete who can beat you from the outside and in. Yes, she can knock it down from 3, but putting that ball on the floor, getting into a mid-range J or finishing in the paint, that’s what sets her apart from others. She is superb when it comes to scoring the basketball. How she does it, who cares, it goes in. This kid is 6’0 and can be a problem for opponents. Has a high basketball IQ and she knows when and how to take advantage of whoever is guarding her. On the defensive end, she can get steals, blocks shots, guard perimeter players or mix it up with the bigs. A hungry individual who has huge upside.

Sydney Wilhite Sydney Wilhite 5'9" | SG Cumberland County | 2027 State TN (Cumberland Co.)– Tough competitor who is a scoring machine. Can play both on or off ball, but when she is the 2, be careful. Has a nice catch and shoot release. Knows how to set her opponent up coming off picks. Can put the ball on the floor and finish at the rim against contact. Solid defender, getting steals and deflections consistently. She’s an impact player on her ball club and they feed off her energy. Brings that “lunch pail” mentality every time she steps into the gym. Solid prospect who is on an upwards trend.

Naiomi Crawley (Ensworth)– Lethal attacking guard who will step onto the high school scene with a vengeance. A multi-level scoring threat who displays toughness especially when attacking the hole. Sees the floor well, anticipates on the defensive end, this kid is going to be the total package when it’s all said and done. Skies are the limit for her, as she gets acclimated to the high school ranks, look for her to come in and contribute for the Lady Tigers.

Kylie Norwood (Gatlinburg-Pittman)– Solid kid who is going to be a big-time contributor when it is all said and done. A multi-level scoring threat who is a technician at her craft. Has nice footwork that enables her to get into her shot quickly off a screen or kick out. She can put it on the floor, displaying a nice floater game or pull up J. Doesn’t hesitate to attack down hill to finish at the rim. Has a high basketball IQ and will look to come in and contribute to a lethal GP attack.

Madyson Elliott Madyson Elliott 5'10" | SG East Nashville | 2025 State TN (East Nashville)– Scoring PG that has a lot of bounce in her game. Has quick handles that enable her to blow past defenders to attack the paint. She can finish at the rim, rising above the competition for the easy lay. She is fearless, a go-getter who is always in attack mode. She is hungry and is always looking to scorch the competition. Has great court vision. Can dime up teammates in a heartbeat. Love how she locks up on D. Creates chaos making it hard for opponents to get into their sets. A run and gun player who truly can change the course of the game at any given moment. A dynamic guard who is as solid as they come.
